In-person worship service in the church sanctuary resumed October 4th!
Live Stream Services will continue
Before you come
We love each other! We will yearn to hug and talk! For now, we advise no hugging or handshakes. However, that is a minor restriction for those who love each other! Plan to visit, catch up, share prayer requests and answers - we can do all this from 6-ft because love finds creative ways to be “together!”
If you find out later that you have been exposed to a Covid-19 infected person, notify the church office immediately. We are required to report potential exposure to the Board of Health and to do a subsequent “deep cleaning” of the worship area.
Our Commitment to Safety
The pastor will be 12’ from worshipers. He will wear a mask except when preaching; at this distance a “screen” is not needed.
[1] Person at risk: over 65 years old; compromised immune system
[2] Exposure: contact or within 6-ft of someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 for over 10 minutes within the past 48 hours.
[3] Covid-19 symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
- Take your temperature – if you have a low-grade fever, stay home and join our Live Stream service for now
- Bring your mask and Bible
- Ask yourself if it is safe for you to come now:
- Parking will be as usual (no ‘spacing’ cones).
- Everyone must always wear a mask.
- Respect the ‘6-feet’ rule.
- There will be no nursery or junior church.
- Enter through the church front doors. The back door will be locked.
- An usher will ask if you feel sick, have been exposed, or show symptoms of Covid 19. If you might be sick, you will be asked to attend from home.
- An usher will apply hand sanitizer to each person and guide you to a seat.
- An usher will be stationed at the front and back of the church to direct you to a seat. Seating will be front to back, every other pew.
- We will dismiss “wedding” style, back to front.
- Pew racks will be empty. Please bring your own Bible. Words to all hymns and choruses will be projected.
- On communion Sunday, you will find a commercially prepared and sealed communion serving in the communion rack.
- Bulletins will be placed at each seat.
- The offering plate will be placed by the door for your offering.
- We will not have coffee or fellowship time after the service.
- You will be dismissed "wedding style" by pew and may exit be either the front or back door.
